Check System Properties dialog box if the installed DV camera has been detected and displayed in Device Manager as "Microsoft DV camera and VCR" in the item of "Imaging Device." If these entries are not present, your camera is not connected to 1394 card properly. Check the cable connections to both camera and 1394 card. Please make sure your camera is turning on and working well.
