How to set CPU-SDRAM Frequency under Bios for Flex600ST motherboard
Please follow below steps to set CPU-SDRAM Frequency under Bios in order to run correct CPU and SDRAM type & speed. If you don't set, our Default setting is only running at 100 Mhz frequency for CPU and SDRAM.
Step 1 :
Boot up FLEX600 motherboard and press "DEL" key to enter CMOS Bios Setup screen.
Step 2 :
Select "Frequency/Voltage Control"→"CPU Host/SDRAM/PCI Clock: Default→
Press Enter to change→For example : if your CPU and SDRAM external frequency is 133Mhz→Then set it as 133/133/33(Our PCI Clock is 33 Mhz)
Step 3 :
After set CPU & SDRAM & PCI Clock→Save & Exit Setup→Reboot and check boot up screen, then you will see correct CPU type and frequency.
Importance Notice:
(1) Do not set CPU Clock at Jumper JP1. Please set under BIOS Setup as above steps.
(2) When you change CPU type & speed and found motherboard can not boot up, then you can Set Clear CMOS Jumper JP5 for 2 or 3 seconds, then set back again and test to boot up.
(Because your previous CPU frequency might be frequency 133 Mhz, and you change to use CPU with 100 Mhz frequency only. That is why, it will cause "Can not boot up problem")
